Hopefully everyone will see a nice speed-up in the amount of time it takes http://www.mqseries.net to deliver pages. I have just implemented a piece of code that basically gzip's the HTML output before it is sent to the client's browser. On the larger pages where there is a lot of text, there should be a noticeable performance gain. The nice thing is that this code checks to make sure your browser supports compressed HTML, if not, it sends them in plain HTML. Supposedly this works for anyone at least IE3, Netscape4, or Mozilla...
