There is not really an MQEveryplace anymore...
Do we still need this one? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

The last message on this forum that related to WMQe seems to have been at least a year ago. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

So is your issue that people are asking non-WMQe questions in a WMQe forum (that doesn't appear to be your reason from the first post)? If so perhaps the forum title/summary can be changed and newbies directed to the correct forum. Forum moderators normally move questions posted in the wrong forums to the right ones. _________________ Regards

Very interesting ...
Looking on this forum for answer to my question as to whether a Database can be used as the repository store for a queue ... which I believe the answer is YES (unlike Big MQ) and happened to notice the scarcity of activity in this forum ... and then this most recent post of 3mos ago ...
It appears to be true ... and IMHO another IBM Billion dollar blunder. The most promising and potentially pervasive software product from IBM when it first came out ... how many cell phones/PDA/etc. have apps using MQe ?? How many could have ?? ... The proverbial soup to nuts message traffic with MQe and MQ potential ... secure, reliable, etc ....
Some serious questions should be answered as to why it did not come about ... but never will.
