Could there be any problems with relying on automatic cluster channels after a FR migration?
The PR's manually defined cluster channels all point to the old FR which will be removed in time.
Backup queue manager definition scripts are of course changed in case of a disaster recovery. |

If you migrate a full repository to a different qmgr and box you will need to update all the manual defined cluster sender channels pointing to the old (now migrated) FR to point to the new FR. This is a work to be done both on PR's and the other FR.

You should have a look to the manual Queue Manager Clusters. The FR migration is described in Chapter 9. Advanced tasks in Task 5 Moving a full repository to another queue manager
Be aware: Changes in the cluster may take some time. So look to the FRs if the objects are carefully added or removed. _________________ Regards

Thanks
Eventually the migration went fine. However, I had to refresh the cluster on the PR but from that point...all good. |
