Installed MQ v6.0 on RHEL 4.4 x86
Now installing fp v6.0.2.3 and encountered following problems when running:
rpm -ivh gsk7bas-7.0-4.11.i386.rpm
Fix Pack docs say it installs over 6.0.0, however the messages below disagree

Yes, I believe there's a previous report that you have to uninstall gskit and install the fp version.

Thanks jefflowrey and PeterPotkay for the help.
I did find the part in Readme that says to use rpm -U on GSK and it worked
I did run into the same problem on Fix Pack when installing IBMJava2-142-ia32-SDK-1.4.2-9.0.i386.rpm
I tried -U to no avail
Ended up going with --force... hopefully I didn't overwrite any sensitive code
Who at IBM would want to know about this?
Thanks Again. |

A PMR is the proper route to communicate this back. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
