I installed IHS for windows 6.1. I unckecked creating a windows services. I thought even I do that, i can create services with

apache -k start command afterward.

However, after installation, when i issued that command, i get the following error

F:\Program Files\IBM\HTTPServer\bin>apache -k start
[Sun Feb 03 16:13:10 2008] [error] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specifi
ed. : No installed service named "IBM HTTP Server 6.1".

when i tried to start ihs, it also gave an error

F:\Program Files\IBM\HTTPServer\bin>apache
(OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port)
is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

How can we start ihs in windows? The doc says it can be started with apache and the services, if not started automatially, can be started with apache -k start

But both are not working in my case.

what else cah I check or I do ? I reinstalled once already.
