The following IBM MQSeries Family SupportPacs have been released.

MO11: MQSeries for OS/390 - Log extract program

This SupportPac provides a program which extracts data from an MQSeries for OS/390 V5.2 log file and creates various files to allow you to display or process information from the log. Typical uses include:

Reviewing which persistent messages were put or got to a queue and whether the request was committed. This allows messages to be replayed. A 'C' program is provided which puts messages to the same queue as they were originally put to. Note putting messages to system queues can cause problems such as duplicate messages
Reviewing persistent messages which were put or got, but the request was backed out.
Displaying which applications backed out rather than committed
Identifying which applications changed MQSeries Objects, for example, disabled queue for puts.
Identifying the volume of data through queues, to identify the high use queues.

The data is processed in multiple steps:

Processing the data from the active or archive log datasets to create an intermediate file
Using the intermediate file to extract the data. Part of this step associates the queue and task information with the message data
Any post processing, such as message replay.

MA0N: enableNet Data Integrator - Evaluation license

enableNet Data Integrator is an industrial strength, managed file movement and integration product for moving files over MQSeries. File type differences are handled automatically across MVS, OS/400, UNIX, Windows NT/2000, DEC, 4690, and MQSeries Client. The product also provides command level, programmatic and graphical interfaces including an MMC plug in to make management of file movement easy in conjunction with MQSeries resource management.

enableNet Data Integrator manages all aspects of file delivery assurance, including configurable parameters for retry etc. Extensive file type support is provided including PDS and GDG on MVS. The Windows NT version offered in this Category 4 SupportPac provides the same function as the product on other platforms, although native interfaces are also available for 3270 and 5250 environments.

MA0O: enableNet Business Process Integrator - Freeware edition

enableNet Business Process Integrator dramatically simplifies the process of building new applications as components that use MQSeries as the transport layer. It also allows the integration of MQSeries-enabled applications with any number of components that are not MQSeries-enabled or applications that are not component-based as part of a defined automated business process.

The Freeware edition supplied with this Category 4 SupportPac also comes packaged with a graphical utility, called enableNet BPI Qtool. This utility is a development and testing tool that manipulates IBM MQSeries queues and messages, particularly messages containing XML data.

The following IBM MQSeries Family SupportPacs have been updated:

IA72: MQSeries Integrator V2 - Aggregator Plug-In

The SupportPac may be used to provide an aggregator function within an MQSeries Integrator V2.0.1 environment. The following changes have been made in this release:

Changes for compatibility with new deployment logic introduced by MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2
Added support for aggregated reply message in XML format
Added AggregatedReplyDataType property
Added AggregatedReplyLabelName property

MA0F: MQSeries - Application Messaging Interface

The MQSeries Application Messaging Interface (AMI) is a simple application programming interface providing support for point-to-point and publish/subscribe messaging. his version provides the following new function on Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT V4, Windows 2000, AIX, Sun Solaris, and HP-UX V11:

Added support for Windows Me and Windows 2000.
Added support for policy handlers. Policy handlers are externally written libraries that extend or modify the function of the AMI to suit the needs of a particular user.
Added support for LDAP (IBM SecureWay and Active Directory) for the AMI repository.
Added support for set message type.
Added support for set report code.
Added support for logical file splitting on a specified byte boundary.
Added support for automatic generation of a new correlation identifier.
Added support for MQSeries client channel name and TCP/IP address specification from an application.
Access to additional AMI object properties from an application provided.
Added repository caching for improved performance when creating a second or subsequent session.
Sun Solaris
Sun Workshop C++ Compiler 5 and Forte C++ 6 support has been added for Solaris 2.6, and Sun Workshop Compiler 4.2 support has been removed. The AMI now supports the Sun Workshop Compiler C++ 5 and Forte C++ 6 compilers on Solaris 2.6, Solaris 7, and Solaris 8.

MA12: MQSeries for MVS/ESA - Batch trigger monitor

This SupportPac provides two sample COBOL programs which can be used as MVS-Batch trigger monitors. The following changes have been made in this release:

Added FAIL_IF_QUIESCING option
Included sample JCL and MQSeries object definitions

MA88: MQSeries classes for Java and MQSeries classes for Java Message Service

This SupportPac provides support for developing MQSeries applications in Java, through the following Java-based APIs:

MQSeries classes for Java V5.2.0
MQSeries classes for Java Message Service (JMS) V5.200

This release of the SupportPac brings V5.2 support to the iSeries and OS/390, z/OS platforms.
