I'm installing a WMQ client on a windows box that will connect to a WMQ server. I downloaded and installed the WMQ 5.3 client support pac MACV. Now I need to create the key store database since the client will need to use SSL.
My problem is I don't have GSKit on the client box. Am I expected to use the GSKit on the server and copy the clients key database to the client box? I'd prefer to install GSKit on the client box but don't see where I can get get the GSKit from.
Comments appreciated. |

Windows MQ v5.3 doesn't use GSKit.
Windows MQ v6.0 comes with GSKit, I believe even the client.
Unless you have a specific exact reason for using MQ v5.3, you should be using v6 for new installations of any kind. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I looked but the V6 client is not on the support pac web site. Is it available somewhere else? |

The GSKit is indeed supplied with the V6 client. Problem solved. |
