Hi,
I have installed the following products on Solaris (SUNOS 5.9):
IBM WebSphere Process Server-6.0.1.0 and
IBM WebSphere Application Server - ND - 6.0.2.3
I did a custom installation. I have created dmgr profile and a custom profile(Custom01) federeated into dmgr. I can see the tables created on the common db, the 2 SCA buses and the nodes from the was admin console.
I want to deploy the HelloWorld SCA application on this server and test it.
To do this do I need any more config? Do I need to create any websphere app server profiles also? Also, under Custom01 directory, there are 2 scripts startServer and startNode.sh.. I am not sure which one actually starts the server. Do I need to create a App server within Admin console? I ran the startNode.sh and configured WID on a windows box to connect to this custom node.
I configured WID to use the SOAP port for the custom profile I created, and WID shows the server as "Started". Is this good?
I did not see anything about this in the info center.. Please help. _________________ IBM Certified System Administrator - Websphere MQ V5.3
You probably need to create an app server instance.
startNode starts the nodeagent. startServer starts the server instance - but it's not entirely clear if you have a server instance or just a nodeagent instance.
