Hi
I am in the process of migrating from WMQI 2.1 to Wensphjere Message Broker 6.0. I am simulating my Env. I installed DB2/WMQI/MQ ... Created a broker and deployed flows. Somehow ConfigManager Database (DB2) crashed. How do I deal with it. I can uninstall DB2 again but I need to deal with the Broker and the Config Manager. Any guidance?

Its Websphere Message Broker 6.0 and NOT Wensphjere Message Broker 6.0.

DB2 crashed? what happens when you do a "db2start" ?

When I do "db2start" I get error message
"SQL10007N Message "-8000" could not be retrieved.
I am trying to fix the DB2 issue but also want to prepare for the case where I cannot fix Db2 and need to clean the Env and rebuild.
We are using XP and Solaris.
ANy help is appreciated. |

Are you sure your db/2 environment is correct? is DB2INSTANCE set?

We had DB2 8.1 installed and WMQI was running fine. As the migration manual mentioned that we should use DB2 8.1.7 I installed FP 7b. After that I cannot start DB2.
1. in C:\IBM\SQLLIB\DB2, DB2INSTANCE=DB2 in the db2profile.bat file.
2. when I start control center or first steps, I get a window with
DB2JAVIT : RC=9501 and a huge classpath like
-Ddb2path="C\Program.....................\db2cc.jar...............
