All of this activity was due to a full pageset? A simple(r) and more direct solution would be to expand the pageset.

It was a testing machines, and the msgs were only testing msgs. it was not not ...

please keep in mind that persistence is a message attribute, not a queue attribute. once persistence or non persistence is assigned to a message it will not change by hitting a queue with a different ...
