I'm in the process of setting up the Wsadmin tool to deploy EAR and single files for Application on an automated schedule. I'm not finding many people who are using the tool.

On one sysplex 6 qmgr all connected.
Less than 5 svrconn total.

On one plex 5 qmgr, 25+ senders no svrconn.

On the last plex same as mr saper(spiderman) i.e. same machine

We can get a single certificate to work but not a site.

IBM is not of any help.

I checked the CHIN and nothing jumped out at me. The ADMIN.CHANNEL.EVENT log is empty since we have a monitor. I seam to remember that a Sender can get stopped under certain conditions.

Are there any conditions where a qmgr will STOP a SENDER on its own? I am trying to find out why some channels keep getting stopped.
The qmgr is on z/os.

What ver of MQ are you using on z/OS?

What is ADOPTMCA=, ADOPTCHK= SET to?

We had a lot of connection problems then made these changes and they went away.
